Dorothy was born in Athens Ga, Clarke County May 3, 1953, to the late Farris Young and MaeBell Pierce Kimbro. Dorothy attended Athens High School. She was employed at Athens Regional Hospital for many years, she also attended Mount Pleasant Baptist Church until she became ill. She was the oldest daughter of ten children. Ms. Dorothy was a beautiful person and will be deeply missed she was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters Rebecca Pierce, Martha Pierce, Christine Kimbro, She leaves to cherish in her memories one beautiful daughter Felicia Calhoun, three sons Donnie Calhoun, Elmer Pierce, David Pierce, one sister Lizzie Kimbro, five brothers, Steve Pierce, Michael Kimbro, Willie Pierce, Carey Kimbro, George Pierce, one uncle, Roosevelt Pierce, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, andrelatives and friends..
