Zachary Rodney Burgess, 56, of Athens, GA, transitioned to his heavenly home early April 18, 2021. This was most befitting for him because of his love for the Lord and actively attending Sunday service. Zachary was known to many and never met a stranger. Many called him Mr. Zach, Zach, Rodney, and most lovingly Uncle Zach. He was a man who listened intently to the said and unsaid, showed empathy to all he encountered, maintained awareness of what was needed to help others whilst conceptualizing the process needed to bring the big ideas to action and providing foresight to be a great steward to what the Lord had chosen him to do
